Can no longer access hotmail on iphone7 plus

My mom and I both have iPhone 7 Plus , all of a sudden she can no longer access hotmail on her phone or iPad through the mail app. I removed it and then tried to add it back to her phone and it won’t work. I also tried to add it to my phone through the mail app. Won’t work.
