iPod touch (4th Gen) App Store

Hi,

I have an iPod touch 4th Generation & a 3rd Generation also.

I got them charged but I am having trouble installing certain apps.

When I install some apps, it lets me download an older version if I download it from my purchased menu.

But when I try to download some apps (Mainly by Apple and Google) it tells me "This app is incompatible with this iPhone". It confuses me because I have downloaded these apps the same iPod a few years ago. But now they do not download. Is there a workaround or a fix?

I tried to see if it worked on my iPod 3rd gen, but it doesn't even load the purchased list/page.

Any help is helpful :)

That function only works if the developer has left an older version available. If it doesn't work for any given one on the fourth generation model, it won't on the third.
