DOWNLOADING APPS ON iPod TOUCH

please I try downloading apps on my iPod 3g touch but it says the app is incompatible on the the iPod touch

The 3g iPod uses iOS 4.2.1 there are no longer any apps that run on that iOS. Most apps require at least iOS 12 (6g iPod), some require iOS 14 (7g)
