Unlock Apple Watch

Since installing WatchOS7.6.1 I have a hard time unlocking my watch. Because of security restrictions on my phone because of my company I have to unlock my watch with my phone. I sometimes have to unlock my phone 3 or 4 times before it unlocks my watch. Anyone else have this happen to them?
