iPhone is disabled, try again in 5 minutes!

My wife's iPhone is showing the subject notification. She was in a shop when this happened. I have followed Apple suggested method/s for recovery but to no avail. Any suggestions beyond the Apple Service suggested method of "recovery"?


iPhone 6S Plus with latest iOS 14.7.1. Phone has been working fine for weeks with the latest iOS.

You will need to restore the device using a computer. The process will erase the device. Later you can restore your data from a recent back-up. Instructions here…
