My iPhone 12 max pro still has wifi issues, can’t connect or poor connection at home and in my car with my Sprint Drive.

hello, for the last month in a half to two months my phone and my wife’s phone has been having issues with wifi, we thought it was our router and we reset it. But still the same issue, we then did a network reset and still acting up, even in our car where I always have wifi connection with the Sprint Drive. But now even with the Sprint Drive now there’s a wifi issue. Our phones are running on the latest iOS software 14.7.1. Could it be there’s something wrong with the wifi antenna? My carrier is Sprint who now is owned by T-Mobile.

The chances of both phones developing the same problem ate quite low which suggested a software problem and security apps are the worst culprits.

If you have reset the router your next test is on someone else's router (forget the car which is notoriously flakey)

After that you could take the phones in for checking while still under warranty.

Or wait for ios14.8 or 15.0 which are imminent.

I’ll check on a different router and see the outcome, and it’s crazy that both of our phones are going through the same issue. We do receive both texts and phone calls as well as web browsing, but it starts to search for signal all the while. I spoke to a tech last night actually through text and we went through the process of shutting off, hard reset, which I told him I went through those measures many times with the ##update# and another one they have and my phone couldn’t process it.

Now I have an appointment today with T-Mobile because all of us Sprint customers will all be migrated over by January of 2022 which they’ll give us a discount when we trade in, But I did think of the iOS software 14.7.1 being the issue.

I’ll find out today what could be causing this.

Oh btw, he also added that a 4g LTE sprint drive won’t work with a 5G device unless I go into the phones settings and change it from 5G to 4G LTE.

Once I see them today I’ll make an appointment with Apple to get yo the bottom of it, thank you!!!
