iPhone 15 Pro - WiFi issues on 2.4 GHz

Hi, my new iPhone 15 Pro seems to have issues with WiFi on 2.4 GHz. It works well on 5 GHz and when it is close to the router. At some distance and on 2.4 GHz the connection becomes very slow and disconnects.

I've walking step by step with my iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro in each hand and only the new iPhone 15 Pro seems to have the issue - I also did the same wit an XS, same behaviour.

At the Genius Bar the guy told me, that the 15 Pro has a new antenna and that 2.4 GHz might be worse than before. Did anyone else experience this and is there a solution to get better WiFi - besides getting a repeater/mesh network?

Thanks, Patrick

Most routers default to Channel 1 using 2.4 GHz.....which makes this channel by far the most congested if you have other Wi-Fi network signals in your area.

If the info about a "new" antenna in the iPhone is correct, trying a different channel might help. Nothing to lose.

Check and see if you can specify that the 2.4 GHz band on your Wi-Fi router will use Channel 6 or Channel 11
