Anyone know how to add footer and/or watermark on Keynote now that the new version no longer have the master slide?
Any help would be highly appreciated!

Slide master is still there, Apple changed the name to Slide Layout.
go to View > Edit Slide Layout

There has been very little change to the Master Slide, now known as Slide Layout, in the past 15 years.
Instead, what you are looking for is a Theme that has a Slide Layout with these attributes.
Have a look at the Editorial theme using the Title and Subtitle Slide Layout as shown below.
Of course you can create your own layout in Slide Layout view for any content that is not available in the in-built themes of Keynote.
Thanks Gary, I’ve checked slide layout and it’s now all different. There used to be text boxes for footnote, dates etc on master slides (the type of text that automatically apply to all slides). There is page number but that’s about it.
