Please why can't i Upgrade From OS X Yosemite 10.10 to a higher version of Os ?

I've been trying to upgrade to the higher version of Os so i'd be able to download and use the softwares

I use for DJaying ... but it wouldn't allow ... it says i'm up to date .. and my Laptop is MacBook Pro Mid 2012

...

According to findings i've made i could actually upgrade to Catalina or Mojave .. Which isn't where i want to go But High Sierra ... Any Help Please ... As it is frustrating / slowing down me at the moment .... ?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10

Install of Mojave:

Go Here: macOS Mojave - Technical Specifications - Apple Support. According to it, Mojave should install just fine on your device (MacBook Pro Mid 2012) As it Reads: MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer)

That is because - technically - High Sierra is update . The latest version is 10.13.6 and there are no more updates in High Sierra

The Age of this computer will Govern what newer version of macOS it will Qualify to install. Use About this Mac from the Apple Icon on Desktop - the required Information will be there.

With the above information in-hand - follow this How to get old versions of macOS and verify what version this computer Qualifies to install. Make sure to use Only Safari to commence the download as Others may not work. Safari will open a redirect and open the apple Store where you commence the download.

Suggest using Go64 to find 32 bit application before attempting the upGrade. Some or many of the Application already installed may required update or upGrades to 64 Bit Versions.

Make a Time Machine Backup Before attempting. Notation - Mojave is the Last version to support 32 bit applications / extensions and Drivers. Catalina support 64 bit and there is no workaround.

Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Un-installers, etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS and may even Corrupt the OS requiring a Reinstallation
