The method by which you remove a VPN configuration from your iPad will primarily be determined by how it was installed.
Assuming that your VPN configuration was installed using a VPN App, simply deleting the App should also remove the corresponding VPN profile from your device. Otherwise, if the VPN profile was manually configured, it can be removed from iPad/iPhone settings:
Settings > General > VPN - identify the VPN profile, then tap the corresponding “i” icon, then select Delete VPN
If your iPad is centrally managed (for example, if company owned), then you will need the assistance of the System Administrator that manages your device(s).
