Apple Motion titles not saving sound in Final Cut Title projects

Started my project in Apple Motion with Final Cut Title. Created my content, which is basically a bottom left corner text with audio added with it. Went to Save As and saved it with the Template Name/Category/Theme dialog box.

I went to FCPX and went to my "Show or Hide the Titles and Generators Sidebar", clicked on it, found the title I saved, added it to my timeline. Text works, sound does not.

What have I done wrong...or will it not save sound like that?

Hi

You are right, the audio from a title template will not save like that. Here is a link to a previous thread that will show you the solutions, courtesy of Luis and Fox.

Note the important detail that you will find the audio file generated for the template in the media folder. Finder-Movies-Motion Templates-Titles ...from there locate the section you created from the publishing and in the title template folder you will find the media folder. You can add the audio from here to FCP.

Crap! I hope this is something they fix in the future. It would be nice to have audio with titles that come up on the screen. I'll have to work on the other method you suggested.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction...I thought I was doing something wrong!
