I have a Samsung UN 40 series, can not get the Apple TV app.

I have a Samsung UN40 series smart tv but can not find any Apple TV app. Xfinity does not support Apple TV+ so how can I use a Apple TV subscription on my tv without buying additional hardware?

Samsung does not list Apple TV in the specs for at least one member of the UN40 series:

That UN40 model is from ~2011, so it’s not a surprise that one lacks Apple TV.


If you should have a different UN40 series TV, check the specs for that model.
