iPhone 12 Pro doesn't show up in iTunes
I'm trying to back up my wife's iPhone 12 Pro before we go on a trip but iTunes doesn't discover it. My iPhone 8 connects just fine. Device manager does recognize both phones in the "unspecified" category but the 12 Pro will not show up in iTunes or Windows Explorer.
I've tried these steps:
-Phone is unlocked, on the home screen, and selected "Trust" when prompted
-Restarting my PC
-Restarting her phone
-Reinstalled iTunes 3 times (originally I had the Microsoft Store copy but I reinstalled with the file from the Apple website)
-3 different cables including 1 OEM cable and 3 different USB ports
-Disable Comodo Antivirus and other security components of Comodo
-Updated the Apple Mobile Device USB Device driver in Device Manager
-Stop and restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (it starts automatically on boot)
-Confirm Bonjour Service is running
The only thing I see missing is iPod Service. It isn't on the list of services even after reinstalling. When I run diagnostic in iTunes, it does indicate that "ipod Support service is not installed" and "iTunes Helper is not running." Log attached.
I'm at a loss on what to do next. Like I said, my iPhone 8 is detected every time.
*edit - I did also open iTunes as an administrator and got the same result.
