“Hey Siri”

I have tried all the above to get Siri to respond to “Hey Siri”; it still isn't working. What are my next steps?

Hello Irwin43,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that Siri isn't responding to "Hey Siri" and you have tried the steps in the related article for "Hey Siri" not working without success. We would next want to make sure that the microphones on your iPhone are working. Take a look at this support article:

Irwin43,

We understand that after testing the microphones, they are working on your iPhone. The next step would be to reinstall iOS on your iPhone. This should not affect any data on your iPhone, but to be safe we would recommend making sure you have a current backup on your iPhone.

Take a look at this article for a reminder of how to back up your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you have a current backup, you can use the following article to reinstall iOS on your iPhone. When you get to step 4 in this process, be sure to select "Update". This should reinstall iOS on the iPhone without erasing any data. If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Cheers.
