Retrieving iMessages from broke iPhone on iPad
My iPhone disabled after the last software update. I have taken it to an Apple store and they cannot restore it or do a factory reset. I need my messages off of the phone?????

Restore the last backup you made of the device to whatever you're getting to replace it.
If you were using messages in iCloud, turn that feature on on the replacement device while signed in with your iCloud account.
