I got a iPhone XS last week, the speaker volume is very low when i try to talk to people. that i end up talking to them on speaker.
I have searched online for fixes and have done loads of different thingsl, going into sound and haptics, clicking change with buttons with the volume not changing, turned of bluetooth which is a pretty stupid thing to have too do.
Are there any other ideas of what to do before i throw it out the window

I am assuming that you purchased this as a used iPhone as Apple is no longer selling the iPhone Xs model ... correct? If so, then it may be possible that this phone is defective. However, there are a few things you can try before returning it for a refund:
Yup i did by it refurbished, i will contact the people i bought it from and see what they can do.

You're very welcome! Hopefully, you can get this resolved with them. If you got it from the Apple Refurbished site, that shouldn't pose any issues getting it refunded.
