Canceling Apple Music

If I cancel the free subscription of Apple Music will I lose my entire iTunes Library? I just signed up for Apple Music yesterday, so if I cancel the subscription how much of my music library is removed, including purchases from the iTunes Store over the years? Or only the songs purchased while subscribed?

Any music you PURCHASED (with or without an Apple Music subscription) from the iTunes Store should be retained. You only LEASE music with an Apple Music subscription. Those songs will be removed if you cancel the subscription or let it expire.
