You may want to ask if they provide a file for you to import the VPN's connection settings from. This Apple Support article shows what info you will need from them, for manual setup, as well as some info on the different VPN types. It also will show you how to import the settings if they provide a file for you.

If this is your personal device or one that you use for both personal and business purposes you may want to inquire if a Mobile Device Management solution is available. You might want to ask about their personal data privacy practices for employees if not.
