App doesn’t show permissions options in iPhone settings

same problem. The app ‘e.g. WhatsApp’ is not asking for permissions, it doesn’t show the option to ask permission to allow access but the app isn’t useful as the contacts show as numbers and access to camera is blocked so photos and camera can’t be accessed, app shows error to allow access by allowing permissions in settings for WhatsApp in iPhone settings

even the contact WhatsApp support option doesn’t work as it requires access to contacts

could you pls advise how to fix this?
