How can I connect Apple Messages to receive Messages in texts on iPhone? Just read I can do so bthese steps: Open Messages (on iMac)--> Preferences--> iMessages (tab), then √ my phone number.. Has the phone number been added to your Apple ID? See if anything here helps.

Messages or FaceTime - Add or remove your phone number.
