Hi! So I used to be able to share music directly from apple music to my Instagram story and now it only lets me send it to individual Instagram friends … I just want to post to my story to share with all friends on I’m listening to! Is anyone else experiencing this? I’ve updated both Instagram and Apple Music since it stopped working 🤷🏻♀️ Help! Thank you so much!

When you choose More and then look for Instagram, how many times does Instagram appear in that list? If it appears twice, can you please choose the second listing? Also, let's test with downloaded music, if you haven't already as well. Just to help us isolate the situation.
If the situation persists, we'd next like to have you delete and reinstall the Instagram app.

We appreciate the screenshot. Let's try something different. When attempting to share a song, touch and hold it, then tap Share. Don't tap the Instagram icon though. Scroll over to the right and choose the More option. It will be a square with three dots. Then choose the Instagram icon from there. Is there any change to your sharing capabilities?

Are these the steps you’re following? How to share music to Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device Is the option for Instagram missing when attempting to share?
Your profile shows that we’re working with an iPhone 11 running iOS 14. Can you verify that you have the latest incremental update of iOS 14.7.1 installed? You can verify that in Settings > General > Software Update.

Hi! Yes my phone is updated to the current 14.7.1 I’m just not sure why this changed? I was able to share songs to my story a couple weeks ago but not anymore and I’ve followed all the steps you’ve listed above! I’ll attach a picture of what happens when I try to share a song on my story!
