I have a slightly older phone--an iPhone 8, but a newer iPad Air 3, and for neither of them, since they don't use Face ID, there is no wallpaper when in the Lock screen. When you go to the back end to to change the wallpaper, the image I want is there, and it's set, but it never shows up. What the heck? The fact that I have this problem not only with the iPhone 8, but also the iPad Air 3 is concerning! Never had this issue before. Even tried changing it to one of the new "preloaded" images rather than the personal photo, and that didn't make any changes either.
