Cannot Pair Apple Watch with New Device

Hi

The subject pretty much explains the issue. I had an apple watch, I unpaired it and wiped it as I should of done following Apples work instructions and also removed the device from Find My. I sold the device to someone else who cannot pair this with their iPhone stating that the device is locked or unable to be paired with the new owners phone.

If I look under my apple ID I don't have the watch showing and I cannot see any reference to the watch apart from when I select devices from Find My on the web. I can see my watch showing offline but other than that I cannot find the watch device anywhere linked with my Apple ID.

The below shows the only place I see any reference to the watch:

Does anyone have any idea how I can get my AppleID to completely 'forget' about my old watch?

I guess I could pair the watch with my phone again and run through the de-provisioning process again but I dont have it.

Thanks for any assistance.
