Removal of annoying unnecessary fonts!

How do I get rid of the Noto font family? It is incredibly irritating to scroll past...it doesnt even display on my mac!

Ventura + Noto (and other annoying) fonts. So here we go again - a new upgrade and yet another wrench in the works by Apple. (What seems like) 1000 Noto fonts (and others) clogging up app font menus. No longer can we remove or even disable these fonts - anyone know how do get around this? As a designer - literally scrolling through a font menu being stacked by too many (and too many typefaces) of fonts such as Noto is time consuming. Anyone know how to disable these fonts - nothing seems to work? I almost regret upgrading these days to any new Mac OS for reasons just like this.

Useless system fonts (Noto sans) I'm getting so tired I have to scroll endlessly through useless system fonts like Noto it's not even funny anymore. I'm using Rightfont as a font manager but unlike some comments here it (obviously) will not let me deactivate system fonts. Is there a fix/hack to deactivate or delete these?

A way around that is to go into Font Book and add all of the fonts you prefer to the Favorites section. Then in apps like Text Edit the Favorites section will be at the top of the list under the Most Recently Used fonts:

That way you can avoid the majority of the unnecessary fonts.

Unfortunately the fonts installed by Apple as part of the operating system can not be removed or disabled.
