Voicemail

I am not getting my voicemail messages. I have missed quite a few that were important; I have to ask Siri daily to get my messages - which is pain, plus it will not let me delete them when I use Siri

Has anyone ever had that issue?

The notification for new voicemail is a badge on the Phone icon.

In addition, go to Settings/Notifications, scroll down to Phone, and turn on Notifications and other settings as you desire.

And note that you must have cellular data on to receive voicemail on the phone, so go to Settings/Cellular and make sure it is ON, then scroll down to Phone and make sure it is ON also.

We appreciate you giving it a try, cwipfli,

If you're still not seeing notifications for voicemail, we'd recommend that you enable Airplane Mode then disable Airplane Mode to reset your network connection. You can enable Airplane Mode via the Control Center or in Settings > Airplane Mode.

Also, if you haven't restarted your iPhone recently, we'd also recommend that you go ahead and do so: Restart your iPhone

If you're still experiencing the same behavior you can also Reset Network Settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Best regards.

Thanks for letting us know, cwipfli,

We're sorry to hear that your friends sister isn't well. We understand how important it is that you're receiving your messages as you'd expect to.

If you're still not being notified of your voicemail messages, we'd recommend that you reach out to Apple directly to investigate this further with you. You can find their contact details here: Get Support

Kind regards.
