What if my printer does not support air print

I cannot air print to my printer.

I would rather print through WiFi.

If your printer does not support AirPrint BUT does support Wifi printing, it just means that your compatible iOS devices will not be able to print to the printer seamlessly without the aid of an app or third-party device. AirPrint, in general, just makes it easier for both Macs and iOS to print to that printer without really any configuration required (especially on the iOS device.)

But your Mac should still be able to print to a compatible Wifi printer just fine. Consult your printer's documentation or printer manufacturer's website for more information on Wifi printing and what drivers/setup you need for your Mac to print to that printer wirelessly (and to also see what is involved for iOS devices too.)
