why doesn't apple include the plug for the cord for apple air pods pro?

Bought new airpods pro. Apple decides to change the plug, gives you a cord and no plug. have i not paid enough for the air pods apple cant afford to include the proper equipment?

Apple has stated they’re trying to reduce waste.


Many of those provided chargers ended up in the trash.


Apple has provided a USB-C Lightning cable and has omitted the USB-C charger (folks with newer iPhones and using rapid charging will already have a USB-C charger), or folks will have a USB-A charger and a USB-A lightning cable (the older 5W, 10W, or 12W setup used for charging an iPhone), or can order the particular charger that they want (for those that don’t have either).


Apple offers USB-A and USB-C chargers, and as do many third-party vendors including Anker.
