There are three Apple Music plans.


A USD$4.99 student plan, a USD$9.99 individual plan, and shareable a USD$14.99 family-sharing plan.


Only the shareable plan is shareable.

Get an Apple Music family subscription - Apple Support


If you have just acquired a shareable plan and have only just got it, try restarting the recalcitrant device and see if it then finds the plan.
