email password reset
How do I reset a password in Outlook for mac? I see the password box in Preferences--Accounts, but when I try and change the password nothing heppens

You change/reset your email password through your email provider's webmail page.
Outlook is a Microsoft product. Maybe ask in the Microsoft Help Communities how to change Outlook settings.
