Wrist irritation.

My watch creates an angry red circle rash on my wrist whenever I wear it. Is there another version that I could trade mine in for that is less likely to cause this?

Apple Watch Series 5, watchOS 7

Is the circle just where the watch is, or is it around the band? If it's the watch itself, perhaps it's too tight. I have sensitive skin and break out in rashes easily from detergents, soaps, some materials (like nickel). Wearing a traditional watchband with a buckle never fit me well, and was either too loose or too tight. I now have two bands for my Watch: Stainless Steel Milanese Loop, and the Sport Loop. I also have a Nike+ band that I never use. I primarily wear the Sport loop, which looks rather nice, because it breathes a bit better than the metal band. The loops are much more adjustable and comfortable IMHO.

That said, I find sometimes my Watch does irritate my wrist. When shifting it higher or lower on my wrist doesn't suffice, I switch it to my right wrist and change the orientation (in settings, or ask Siri to change it). Hope this helps!

It’s the watch itself. I have several bands that I’ve gone through, just to be sure. The irritation happens overnight. I’d take the watch off, but one of the reasons I got it is to track my sleep and heart at night. Other than this issue, I love it… but wearing something that causes a rash seems defeating. I’ll email the company tomorrow to see what they say. Thanks for your help!
