Trying to mount a disk I have this message: com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930868. What does it means and how to fix? Thanks

I don't have any security or antivirus applications installed on the machine. I can't imagine anything that could be blocking the mounting of this external disk, unless some formatting issue. And I haven't found any references to this specific error yet (disenter error -119930868). But thank you so much for your attention.
