Hi there, I have multiple apple devices that shared same Apple ID for icloud but different Apple IDs for iTune and App Store. I found an issue that texting in iMessage via iPhone and Mac appear different names for the same number. Please help with the issue.
On the phone, have you checked Settings/Messages/Send & Receive/Start New Conversations From and on the computer, Messages/Preferences/Accounts/Settings/Start new conversations from to make sure the name/email is the same?
Also check the Contacts app/application to make sure the same card is marked 'Your Card' and the name entered is the same.
