"Date Added" dynamically changes to today's date, creates issue with Smart Playlist

Stumbled upon this issue when trying to create a smart playlist of multiple playlists. The smart playlist only adds songs that haven't had the Date Added automatically changed to today's date.

First, why is Apple Music changing the Date Added automatically to today's date, which then makes Date Added later than Date Modified? Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Second, because this is happening, will songs that say they are Date Added after Date Modified not be added to a smart playlist?

So I modified a couple of songs in Get Info, and it seems like Apple Music changes the Date Added tag rather than the Date Modified tag. So strange. Is there a solution for this?
