I have the iPhone XR and I dropped my old XR in a pond and never got it back but I got a new one a few weeks ago and now I’m getting scaratches all at the top of the screen in the camera and speaker, it looks like it’s shattered but it’s just scratches and not cracks and I’ve not once dropped my new one and I put my screen protector over the scratches but now it’s on the screen protected and the screen. So I’m wondering what’s making it get all scratched up

Obviously, something your doing is scratching it, it's not getting scratched all by itself. Do you keep it in your pocket with other objects such as keys?
