Movies from iTunes extra without wifi

I was always big fun of Itunes extras, but as apple is moving special edition to extras it is hard to watch them during flights where there is no internet or connection is so expensive and unusable. So the good question is there a way to make the movies from iTunes extras available for offline use or maybe apple is planing to releases service that will allow to have internet access for free in the plains so that we can watch purchases content?
