All of a sudden, my iPad will not accept my fingerprint nor will it allow me to put in my password. The touchscreen is not working so I can not restart it. Help

All of a sudden my iPad will not allow me to use touchscreen. It is not accepting my fingerprint and I can’t use touchscreen to type in my code. I tried to hold down the power button but it asks for passcode. How can I reboot if I can’t get my passcode to input

Sounds like it may be time to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options...
