Apple AirPods 2nd generation
Someone is trying to sell me several sets of 2nd generation Apple AirPods. They are new in sealed boxes. However, they all have the same serial number. Is this normal or are they fakes?

Warranty coverage is obtained through the serial number.
If all the serial numbers are the same, how would Apple know if you still had a valid warranty or track your repairs?
