Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
In the middle of transfer from iPhone8+ to iPhone12 Max Pro. The transfer process stopped in the middle where the old iPhone8+ disconnect and iPhone 12 Max Pro is trying to locate to the iPhone 8+. I have tried it a number of times now.
I notice now a number of apps in the iPhone p8+ is now missing. Do I keep resetting the iPhone Max Pro 12 until it is completed?

It has been 6 hours since you asked and it can take that long for apps to download from App Store. Only the app data is transferred, not the apps themselves.
However if there is any doubt you may have app data missing then by all means reset the new phone by Settings, General, Reset, Erase all content and settings and begin Quick Start again from the Hello Screen
