iPad down???

I am using a first-generation iPad and until this point, it worked well. Now it thinks we are in 1970, furthermore, I cannot connect to Apple id server, cannot log in to iCloud or even connect to the internet. But the Wifi connection is okay. Everything related to the Internet is broken. I can still use it and take notes. Look at pics. Feels weird, it like I use Windows 95. I don't want to buy another iPad, If I have to buy it, what I'm going to do with the current one? I want it to be fixed. What are my options? Thank you for reading.

Unless the date is set correctly on your iPad, many external resources will be inaccessible as SSL/TLS Certificates (an essential element of modern internet security) rely upon correct time and date information.

An iPad can usually automatically set the correct time and date - but if is too far adrift, this mechanism can fail. You need to resolve this issue - which may require changing some settings:

Settings > General > Date & Time

If your iPad is already configured to set your time automatically, you may need to initially disable Set Automatically and manually set the date and time. Ensure that you have also selected the correct Time Zone.

By contrast, if your iPad is already configured for its date/time information to be set manually, make changes as needed to correct the incorrect date and time.

Note that after making configuration changes that it may be necessary to restart your iPad. When your iPad is working normally, you can revisit your settings - and (re)enable Set Automatically.
