Is it OK to mount an M1 Mac mini face down?

Question

Is it OK to mount an M1 Mac mini face down?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be. It has SSD storage so the only moving part is the fan. I want to have it under my desk in a bracket designed for that purpose.

No problem as long as there’s a clearance for the air inlet and sides have room to vent.

Not sure why you would need to do that but I stand mine upright with a stand to take up less desk space. As other stated ok in any direction as long as vent is not blocked

I have mine mounted under my desk using the Innovelis TotalMount Pro Mounting System for Mac mini, sold through the Apple store. It allows you to mount it right-side-up, but under the desk.
