I want to update my iOS of my iPhone 6

Im trying to update the IOS at least 14 IOS because I can't download some apps that request it.

but when I go to settings it doesn't give me an option

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

Sorry, but your over 7 year old iPhone is too old, and lacks the hardware required to update beyond it's current iOS 12.5.4.

It's time for a newer, more modern iPhone if you need the newer iOS versions.
