Disabling Dell Monitor from charging of my MacBook Pro?

I connect my Mac Book Pro 16 Inc to my Dell 27 USB-C Monitor - P2719HC , I've been quite concerned with my MacBook's battery life. I was wondering if there is any way to disable the charging of my MacBook from monitor when it is plugged in and used the original charging, while I'm still using it via the USB Type-C cable for displaying?

Is there any way making my MacBook Pro not charge from an external monitor? I have 2019 16" MacBook Pro which is permanently plugged into an LG UltraFine display. I understand that having it permanently plugged into power will reduce battery life but I don't want to lose the use of my monitor while letting the battery discharge occasionally. Is there a way to tell the MacBook to only output to the monitor and not charge from it?

USB type C monitor charging Hi everyone, I'm using a DELL P2720DC monitor and I just found out that I can connect my MBP to the monitor without HDMI, just with a USB type C cable. It also provides charge to my Mac. This is great, but it's also a problem: I'm afraid that when the charge is at 100%, it damages the battery, and I can't disconnect the cable because I'm using the monitor. How can I solve this? Do I have to be afraid about the "always on charging" mode in my Mac, or is it ok to continue working with the monitor plugged even after the Mac is full of charge? Anyone knows how to stop the charge on macOS? Thank you in advance!
