Has anyone had their I pad battery go dead fast. I bought two I pads 5 years ago. One the battery goes dead innan hour playing solitaire and the other lasts five hours.

Looking for experience to see if worth a battery or new I Pad

I don't think you can compare the two batteries as they have probably had different levels of activity over 5 years. It is probably time to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for Battery Replacement.

Only you can decide if you want to invest in a newer iPad. After 5 years, there are are a great many new features on the newer models. You can take a look by clicking on iPad in the black stripe above which will take you to the online store.
