How to clear items from Recent Folder

Is there a way to clear the items in the Recent Folder without it also deleting the items from their original locations?

Delete Recents I wish to delete recents so that another person cannot see my choice of files. But, I do not want to delete the files in my other places such as Documents. When a file is deleted from recents it is deleted from the original file! How can I select some, not all, of files in recents and delete their appearance there without deleting the home file???

Clearing the Recents list in Finder Is there any way to clear the Recents list in Finder? It goes all the way back to when I purchased my first Apple device! Go > Recent Folders > Clear Menu only clears the Recents lists in Go > Recents Folders and Apple Menu > Recent Items.

recents folder inside of finder so I download pictures or documents and they show on these folders and also on the recents folder how do I clear that folder and not the one in the apple icon please and thank you
