How often should I shut down my Mac book pro?
I use it everyday not for long hours tho. what should I do, shut it down every time I'm done?
cause these days I'm just leaving it on sleep mode through the night.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

There is no need to shut down, this is what sleep is for—pick up right where you left off.
There is no harm in say once a week or so... to do a reboot if things are starting to bog down for any reason.
Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac - Apple ...

It is a good practice to Restart or Shutdown/Restart at least weekly.
This is regardless of which side of the sleep it or shutdown debate you fall on.

+2 on restarts ±weekly regardless of sleep v. shutdown practices.
FWIW, I shut mine down every time I know I won't be using it for an hour or so. Why leave it on if you are not using it?
