EVS (Enhanced Voice Services) support for iphone models

Hi,

i was looking for the EVS (Enhanced Voice Services) voice codec support for iphone models, and had't found nothing official. The voice quality from the test performed on iphone 11 and iphone 11 pro, voice call on Orange Romania network was astonishing and i don't want to lose this functionality on iphone 12.

From the service provider documentation, this codec is supported only on iphone 11, no data for iphone 12:

• the service description (not available in english, but webpage could be translated romanian > english using automated service) anyway, that's only service description and benefits.
• If i search for:

Apple iPhone Xs  - Apel 4G > 4G voice

Apple iPhone 11 - Apel 4GHD + Voice Plus > 4G voice + voice plus (this is EVS marketing name in Orange Romania)

Apple iPhone 12 - no data

Thereby the question:

For which iphone models the EVS (Enhanced Voice Services) is supported?

This is a phone vendor/operator mutual requirement for both of them to support this service, but if i know the phone support it, then i can ask the operator. If the phone does not support it, that's it, i'll stick with iphone 11.

If more people are interested, maybe, we can address this question to engineering as well, to add this specification to iphones.

As a community, we can only try to test the newer iphones in the service provider network that support EVS, after enabling
