Remove PayPal connection

I closed my PayPal account, removed the app and cleared the cache from both my iPad and iPhone. Every time I go a specific webpage to pay a vendor I’m automatically routed to the PayPal website. No, I do not get logged in automatically because that’s no longer possible. This happens on my iPad regardless if I use safari, google, chrome or Firefox. Short of doing a factory reset I don’t know what to do.

When you click on a link on a website then your browser is directed to a location (another website) that is written in the link. When you go to your specific webpage to pay a vendor and are routed to the PayPal site because that payment link is setup to use PayPal. You can delete the PayPal account from your device however you will always end up on the PayPal site if the link that you are clicking on, calls for it.

Hi. The link is for a class. It seems I am the only student having this problem. When I click for the vendor’s link to pay, I should be given the option to pay by credit/debit cards or PayPal. I closed my pal pay account, removed all PayPal login information in settings, removed website data under Safari’s Advance settings. I’ve also peek around iCloud to see if something is stored there. As a last resort, my thoughts to escape the PayPal ghost is to do a reset. Thank you.
