Apple TV Not Pairing with Bose Remote

Same issue as with Bose Smart Soundbar 300. No issue resolution.

Apple TV Remote Controls Soundbar Volume but won’t turn on/off My Apple TV remote successfully controls my volume on a Samsung Soundbar via IR (learned remote pairing) but it won’t turn the Soundbar on/off. It used to do this but for some reason I can’t get it to work anymore. The Soundbar is connected to the TV via Optical cable (HDMI from Apple TV to TV)

Apple TV can use some third party universal remotes, that send commands via IR. Use the Learn Remote settings to configure.

There is no pairing with IR remotes and the Apple TV 4K, as intended.
