I changed home page to Google from Safari, as it was when I got iMac, can't figure out how to change it back, please advise? (I have an old 2013 iMac, IOS 10.15.7, if that helps). Thank you.

Make Safari your default web browser on Mac
Thank you for your quick reply! But I've already done that,, and even restarted it, too, but it's still taking me to my Google home page, when I want it to be the Safari screen that was on it when I bought it. I'm hoping the little "house" will be there, too, when I find it, cuz that's what I use to quickly start another search. Please advise, and thank you again! :)
if I am getting it right, you are talking about switching from google chrome to safari? If that is the case, uninstall/delete the google chrome app. it will automatically make safari your default browser.
Click Safari > Preferences > General tab.
Set "New windows open with:" Start Page
Also set "Safari opens with:" A new window.
And if you have no preference for a home page (like Google) then delete the entry in Homepage: box.
go into Safari Preferences > General and type in your desired website into the "homepage" field.
Thanks very much, I'm not sure I want to delete Google, I just don't want it to be my default page, tho?
