Do I have a virus/Malware on my Macbook?
First of all sorry if I put things wrong, because I am not a native speaker.
So when I wanted to clean my cache I discovered the folder com.apple.iconservices.store
and I was not able to read it.
so I copied the name of the folder and pasted into safari to get to know something about it.
It directed me to a random website(BILD news) and I was confused.
after that I just pasted the folders name into google and one suggestion of google was "com.apple.iconservices.store virus" so I thought I might have a virus.
after that I managed to get the permission to read&write the folder when I went to information.
In order of that I deleted everything in the folder and the folder itself .
After rebooting it showed up again and when I pasted the folder name again into safari and it directed me to this website
to be honest I am a bit worried about my laptop and I don't know if I got a virus or not.
I would be very thankful if someone could help me with this topic and enlighten me.
Right now I again made myself get access to the folder and just deleted the files that were in it and left it like that and for now
